In 1962, Inland Valley Meats transitioned from a local market and began suppling local grocers and restaurants wholesale meat products. Inland Valley Meats is a USDA regulated facility. Our company has 4 HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) plans being implemented in our facility including; Fully Cooked-Not Shelf Stable, Raw Not Ground, Raw Ground, and Heat Treated- Not Fully Cooked- Not Shelf Stable. The HACCP system identifies specific hazards and measures for their control to ensure the safety of food. HACCP is a tool to assess hazards and establish control systems that focus on prevention rather than relying mainly on end-product testing. Another precautionary measure we take are our pre-requisites programs for our raw materials and packaging. Our raw meat products must meet our preset qualifications before being accepted and eventually being used in production. Simply put, we know where every piece of your box comes from which ensures top quality meat in every box!

Inland Valley Meats was founded by Thomas Serrato in 1922. He began by supplying meat directly to customers at great low prices. In 1962, our company transitioned to the wholesale market, selling to restaurants and small meat markets.
